This image is a metaphor. Hopefully by the end of the post, it will be clearer what it is a metaphor for. It's also an excuse to post foresty imagery which, as should be evident to any and all, I will do given even the slightest of provocations. (Full outdoor shot of a mountain landscape with a serene lake nestled within a valley. The foreground is dominated by fallen logs and debris, suggesting a possible recent disturbance or natural event.
